Track Name: The Light
Contest Details: Pedro Costa is an up and coming Canadian singer songwriter from Northern Ontario. Born of Portuguese roots he spent part of his childhood living in Europe which influenced his taste in music. Although he was involved in music in various capacities throughout his life, he became serious about song writing late in 2008. In February 2009 released his first EP “The Light”. The title track has charted nationally in Poland and has been garnering attention in all corners of the world. His music has been described thus far as a blend of Pop/Rock, Alternative Rock, and Classic Rock.

I'd like to thank and congratulate everyone who submitted and entry to my contest. It's a great honour to have my music re-interpreted by others, Thank you! The judging was a lot harder than I thought. Many great entries. In the end one entry came out slightly ahead of others. I'd like to congratulate the winner PaulMeth (lackoo)!!! This entry will be registered as 50/50 royalty share and will be included on my debut album "Pie In The Sky" To be released early 2010.
Again many thanks to all. I look forward to the possibility of working with you again in the future.

Anyone else having BPM issues? I will confirm tonight but if anyone else has figured it out that would be great. Thanks.
Just checked it and the drum track entitled In_SessionDrummer2 2 In_ Stereo-1.wav for me is exactly 120bpm all the way through and doesn't stray off either.
@noamusic - This might be due to your kHz settings within the program you're using. The wav files are 44,100kHz. So if for example you were in a session using 48,000kHz it might be making the tracks slightly faster or slower. For me they are 120bpm.

Unfortunately most of the tracks are audio (guitars, bass, vocals) The only midi/softsynth are the drums and organ part during the chorus. If it would help I could write down the chord progression. Hi there I uploaded my remix last night but can not see it . I think that it got there because it said it had to change the file name for security reasons or some thing , Im new to this site, not sure what has happened hope you can help . Lee.

If there is anyone out there that didn't get theirs in on time I'd still like to hear from you for a compilation CD however you won't qualify to win the contest anymore.
