Contest Details: For the 'Find the New Pattern' contest, we're looking for a fresh take on one of the tracks from Syd's newest EP, "Upswing". Take 'The Pattern' single, find your own way through it, and send it to us. We want to hear what you hear, and see what you see in this tune. We look forward to your entries!

Judging: Final decision on the winning mix will be determined by the artist management.

Contest Rules: (In addition to the Standard RemixComps.com Rules)•Starts July 6th - entries should be submitted no later than midnight on August 31st. The winner will be announced on Sept 15th on the myspace page and by email.
•Unlimited entries are allowed.
•The remix should be no longer than 5 minutes
•The remixes of the song should not be obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability, or violate any law. All mixes will be scanned and will be disqualified if any of the above are found.
•Remixes will be posted on the myspace page for everyone to listen to
•Syd owns all submissions.
•All entrants are allowed to make cd-rs, download and stream their remixes wherever they want (no other uses), so long as they’re given away for free, without any charge, and licensed under Creative Commons. We can do the same.
