any style goes ? i usually produce progressive vocal trance

yeah anything electronic is fine

quote: "yeah anything electronic is fine"
and this INCLUDES mash-up?? There was no mention of using other people's work whatsoever.

Ah, I suppose Rule #5 of the Standard Rules would apply in those conditions?
"5. An entry may not violate the intellectual property or proprietary rights of other parties."

a mash up is not really a remix in that case just do your own rework of it im pretty sure you can play it on your radio show or anything of that matter as long as you are not making any money out of it and have the right from the rightful owners.

i love the vocal on this track so far my remix is coming along so good all thanks to that voice.

i do however have a question.
1 do we have to use all parts of the remix package ?

the reason i ask is because im kinda known to add my own twist into a remix some times even change things a bit and from experience i know some labels don't really like that.

a mash up using your own track is ok, but someone elses copyrighted material is prohibited. The reference to everything electronic means only GENRES that are electronic in type and yes rule 5 does apply to mash ups.

You do not have to use all the remix parts, you can use only the vocal if you wish.

Ca you post the chord peogression for the song? Its a bit hard to get it from the synth.

CHECK THE REMIX STEMS SECTION - THE MIDI FILE IS NOW ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE NOTES OR CHORDS. GOOD LUCK!

i decided to re upload my remix some people seem to be pissed off about lol weird

ha ha ha ha mark no one is pissed off my friend. i simply said the vocals were no where near in line with the kick! i was trying to help you. mate if you cant take help as easy as the vocals aren't in line what chance do you have? and not only that why we're on the subject, the scariest thing is "how come you couldn't notice that your self" you need practice mate and lots of it! i tried to help and then you started crying about people being pissed off. no ones pissed off mark were all in this together matey, just keep your head up and stick at it, in time it will come mate honest. keep up the good work! speak soon.

Nice comment Sonic, I actually thought the same of the kicks =), even if I didn't rate it.
I would be glad to hear things like this about my song, too, cause it could help a lot to improve me and my music. I often don't hear mistakes in my own "things"....

very very true! i think its called constructive critism isn't it? well i have removed my remix and currentley working on another as i think i can do better myself from my first attempt! keep your eyes open ill be uploading it tonight!

Sonic Phaze
dude i take criticism as its i am not pissed off or meant to post that what i meant was that people were starting an argument about it and i hate that stuff so i decided to take it down and the reason why the vocals where off was because it was, i forgot to actually render the final mix down and posted a bad one it was all my mistake. oh well moving along now and posting the good one

well im waiting to hear the new one buddy. i hope you have done well with it. your first work was great matey. it was very very good apart from vocals. but i hope to hear a fresh new mix very soon my friend. keep up the good worl mark buddy! n1!

Almost time to upload my remix.

Hello, I hope you like the electro progressive music?
And you like other electronic styles?
thanx for attention

What about styles for this competition?

as we said before, we are looking for ANY dance or electronics based style eg new age, chill, drum and bass, techno, trance, dance, downtempo, lounge, trip hop

Thanx for the answer!
I just prepare very melodious and dancing remix to this song! It is natural that it will be qualitative!
Thank you for this competition!
Best regards!

'We're gonna be allright'
that tune stays in my head!

Agreed. It got stuck in my head a number of times while working on my mix.

im still singing in work and college walking round the corridors ha ha ha ha ha. "were gonna be allllrighttttttt". "were gon be alright", "baby if we leave this cityyyy, leave this cityyyyyyy".

hehe, good i'm not the only crazy around here :D

Anyone know when this competition is being decided on?

whens it decided peeps!

We cannot rush the decision, there is a lot to listen to. We have our shortlist, that's all we can say for now. Thanks
