The grand prize winner will receive $1,000. 1 runner up will receive the SONAR X1 Production Suite and receive a Roland Quad-Capture audio interface. 5 honorable mentions will each receive a CD autographed by K'naan.

Open to individuals who are 13 years of age or older who are not presently signed to any record label or publisher under any exclusive agreements. Entrants assign away and transfer any and all rights in the remixes.

The remix stems can be downloaded from the K'Naan remix contest page from the right hand side once registered and logged in to Indaba Music. A free member gets to enter 3 locked opportunities per year for free unless they purchase a Pro membership on Indaba allowing them to enter unlimited remix and music opportunities.
