August's prize is the usual $5000 for the grand prize winner of the month (this is from across all channels/genres) and a $100 for the winner from each genre. There is also a $1000 Grand Prize for a Video too and the chance to get your music promoted on MTV's website.
Notable Rules:To enter this music contest, you need to register as an OurStage Artist and then upload your music into the correct genre. There is the chance to enter multiple songs per month.
More Info:Sign up for an artist account on OurStage and upload your own tracks into the best suited category such as HipHop, Electronica, Ambient/Chill, Blues, Country, Rock and more.
