The grand prize winner will receive $250, a Shure SM57 microphone and potentially have their version of the song made into a music video. 10 licensed tracks, as chosen by the Judges from all of the submissions, will be added to the Indaba Music Licensing Catalog. All proceeds made from the cover song will be donated to Cyndi Lauper's charity, True Colors.

Rules:

Open to individuals who are 13 years of age or older who are not presently signed to any record label or publisher under any exclusive agreements. Entrants assign away and transfer any and all rights in the remixes.

The original song is "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" made famous by Cindi Lauper but this remix contest uses newly recorded vocal stems. The newly recorded vocal stems can be heard on the remix contest page.

Vyero Remix Contest

1 remix will get a release as part of the Electro-Acustico CD and will receive 50% of the track's royalties.The remix will be featured on www.vyero.net and SoundCloud as the winning remix
with full credits, web links and internet radio promotion. The winning remix will be handed to many club DJ's around Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Argentina.

Rules:

There are no limitations on style, genre, duration, or structure. Tracks should NOT be mastered or have any final compression or limiting processes, this is just a way to make sure the track is fit for Mastering along with the whole CD.
